Terms of Service

Version: 2 November 2026. Effective upon first publication of this version.

1. Who we are

Weavers is operated by AM2 CONSULTING SRL LIMITED, a private limited company registered in England and Wales, United Kingdom, under company number 15609100. Its registered office is Belmont Suite, Paragon Business Park, Chorley New Road, Bolton, England, BL6 6HG, United Kingdom. In these Terms, “Weavers,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to that entity.

You can contact us through https://www.weavers.app/contact or at office@weavers.app.

These Terms cover the Weavers services identified when you register or purchase, including applicable website, desktop, research, notebook, strategy, experiment, API, and assistant-connector features. Features depend on your account, plan, permissions, and availability. Additional services may have separate terms that we present before you activate them.

2. Agreement and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, have legal capacity to enter into this agreement, and use the service in compliance with laws applicable to you. If you use Weavers for an organization, you must be authorized to act for it.

We will make these Terms available before asking you to accept them when registering, purchasing, or activating a service covered by them. If you do not agree, do not activate the services covered by these Terms. For existing paid services affected by a change, the notice and cancellation protections in section 12 apply.

Accepting these Terms does not authorize every optional assistant permission, subscribe you to marketing, or replace any separate consent required by law.

3. Your account

Provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. Connect only accounts you own or are authorized to use. Do not share access in a way that bypasses your plan or another person's permissions.

Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We may require proportionate verification before changing account ownership or restoring access. You are responsible for activity you authorize; this does not make you responsible for loss caused by our failure to meet our legal or contractual obligations.

4. Research tools and financial decisions

Weavers provides software for research, analysis, strategy development, and experimentation. Results depend on data quality, model assumptions, selected parameters, and execution conditions. Historical or simulated results do not guarantee future performance. Samples, backtests, and validation labels do not guarantee that a strategy is suitable, profitable, or free from error.

Check outputs and underlying assumptions before relying on them. Research tools and AI-generated material are not a substitute for appropriately qualified financial, legal, or tax advice. Investment decisions can result in losses.

The assistant connectors described below do not place trades, transfer funds, execute experiments, or certify investment performance.

5. ChatGPT, Claude, and other assistant connections

Connecting an assistant is optional. You authorize access through the displayed connection and permission flow. The connection is associated with your Weavers account and does not grant access to another user's private resources.

Depending on the permissions you grant, the current connector can:

  • Retrieve your opaque connection identifier and accessible notebook summaries.
  • Retrieve facts for an accessible experiment when its run identifier is supplied.
  • Read your strategy-project metadata and revision information.
  • Read bounded portions of your strategy's Python source.
  • Preview a limited sample of an owned dataset, rather than the complete input.
  • Create an experiment draft for you to finish reviewing in Weavers.
  • Stage a Python source proposal for you to compare and apply in Weavers.

Creating a draft or staging a proposal writes a record to your account. Those actions do not execute code, run the experiment, or apply the proposed replacement to live source. Inspect code and settings before separately applying or executing anything in Weavers. An assistant's explanation is not proof that an action occurred; check the tool result and the saved record.

Data returned through the connector is sent to the assistant service you chose and may appear in its conversation. Authorize disclosure only where you have the necessary rights, including for confidential source code and licensed datasets. Do not assume your Weavers login email must match your assistant account's email.

You can revoke the connection in Weavers at https://www.weavers.app/settings/ai-connections. Signing out of the website is not the same as revoking assistant access. Revocation prevents further authorized connector calls; it does not erase information already returned, previous chats, or drafts and proposals already created. Manage those separately through the relevant service's controls or support process. Reconnection requires authorization.

The assistant provider's own terms and privacy settings govern its service. Weavers does not control that provider's conversation retention or model-training settings. Check the applicable provider policies before connecting. This does not reduce Weavers' responsibilities for its own processing or integration.

6. Your content and third-party data

You retain the rights you hold in the source code, datasets, notebooks, and other content you provide. Upload or connect only content you have permission to use. Respect third-party licences and restrictions on market data and redistribution.

You grant us a non-exclusive permission to host, process, and transmit that content to the extent necessary to provide the features you request, maintain their security, and meet applicable legal obligations. This includes transmitting requested results to an assistant you authorize. It does not give us ownership of your content or a general right to publish private material.

If you choose to publish or share content through a community feature, check the audience and applicable sharing conditions before doing so. Authorizing an assistant connection does not itself make your private content public.

We do not promise that AI-generated output is unique or eligible for exclusive ownership. Third-party rights may apply. Review output before publishing or using it. Weavers software, branding, and supplied materials remain protected by their applicable intellectual-property rights and licences.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use Weavers to:

  • Access accounts or private resources without authorization.
  • Steal credentials, bypass permission checks, or evade reasonable usage limits.
  • Upload malicious code intended to compromise systems or disrupt other users.
  • Infringe intellectual-property, confidentiality, privacy, or data-licensing rights.
  • Carry out fraud, unlawful activity, or deceptive claims about research results.

Report suspected security issues through https://www.weavers.app/contact or office@weavers.app, including "security" in the subject line. Nothing here prevents disclosures or security research protected by applicable law.

8. Current availability and future paid services

Purchases through Weavers are not currently enabled. Weavers does not currently accept purchases of subscriptions or credits. Displayed plan information, credit balances, or sandbox features do not themselves constitute a paid purchase.

If we introduce paid services, we will present the applicable price, taxes, billing period, renewal conditions, cancellation method, refund terms, and statutory rights before asking you to purchase. Accepting these Terms does not authorize a future charge or automatically enroll you in a paid subscription.

Any charges for using ChatGPT, Claude, or another third-party service are governed by your agreement with that provider. They are separate from Weavers.

9. Privacy and account closure

Our Privacy Policy at https://www.weavers.app/privacy explains how we process personal information, including service providers, retention, international transfers, and your rights. It must accurately describe the processing we perform; these Terms are not blanket consent to unrelated data use.

For questions or requests about account closure, access to your information, export, or deletion, contact us at https://www.weavers.app/contact or office@weavers.app. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We will explain the available process and respond in accordance with applicable law. Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations; any such retention and backup handling must be explained in our Privacy Policy.

Disconnecting an assistant, cancelling a subscription, and deleting an account are different actions. We will explain their effects in the relevant flow.

10. Availability and changes to services

We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Maintenance, security events, third-party outages, and technical limits can interrupt access. We will give reasonable advance notice of planned material interruptions where practicable.

We may change features for security, legal compliance, technical compatibility, or product improvement. If a change materially reduces an existing paid service, we will explain the change and provide appropriate cancellation and refund rights under your agreement and applicable law. We will not use a general change clause to remove protections you are legally entitled to receive.

11. Suspension and termination

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address a material breach, an immediate security risk, or a legal requirement. Restrictions will be proportionate. Where lawful and practicable, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to resolve the issue or challenge an error through support.

Emergency restrictions may take effect immediately. If we discontinue a paid service for reasons unrelated to your breach, we will provide appropriate notice and refunds for unused prepaid service where required. Data access and retention following closure are governed by the process described in section 9.

12. Responsibility, changes to these Terms, and disputes

Nothing in these Terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer rights. Research-risk warnings do not excuse our failure to meet our obligations.

We may update these Terms for legal, security, technical, or service changes. We will identify the new version and notify affected users of material changes in advance where reasonably possible. We will explain when changes take effect and any available cancellation rights. Where fresh agreement is required, we will request it. Changes do not remove accrued rights or apply retrospectively.

Contact office@weavers.app or https://www.weavers.app/contact if you have a complaint. Describe the issue and the resolution you seek so we can investigate. You retain the protections and rights to seek remedies in courts available under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections. These Terms do not require compulsory arbitration or waive those rights.
